Horse Riding
Horse riding is a very popular pastime on the Costa del Sol and the province of Malaga is now becoming just as an important equestrian centre as Cadiz. The Costa del Sol Hippodrome horse racing circuit in Mijas is ideal for lovers of all things equine. Local riding stables will take you on riding routes through forest and mountainous regions, where you will be able to delight in some magnificent scenery.
Our local partner horse riding stables is located in the hills behind La Cala de Mijas, just 5 minutes from the golden sands of the Costa del Sol and offers a completely new riding experience in safe hands.
It is a private, family run riding school and operated to high standards by qualified and experienced staff. All types of requirements are catered for including individual and group beginners and advanced stage lessons, stable management, instructor escorted hacks into the beautiful surrounding countryside, show jumping and dressage competitions and fun day, pony camps, etc.
Lesson/Hack Prices:
Current prices are as below but please check for any updates prior to confirming your bookings:
½ hour private from 22€
1 hour private from 36€
45 minutes semi private ( min 2 people ) from 22€ each
1 hour group ( min 3 – max 8 people ) from 22€ each
I hour hack from 25€ - non riders MUST have a min ½ lesson prior to hacking
2 hour hack from 40€
Other requirements can also be catered for and hats and boots can be hired.
