As well as offering activities such as watersports, golf, cycling, horseriding and hiking, the Costa del Sol has many theme parks, go-karting, crazy golf, safari parks and beautiful public gardens to visit.

All within a short drive away is Selwo Aventura, Selwo Marina, Tivoli World, Parque Acuatico Mijas, Sealife Centre and Fuengirola Zoo.

Selwo Aventura

Selwo Aventura safari park in Estepona is one of the best wildlife parks in Europe and has more than 200 species of animals. Entry for adults is 35€, children 24€ and opening hours tend to be from 10am to 7pm depending on the time of year.

Selwo Marina

Selwo Marina in Benalmadena is the same as Aventura except it houses water species and has the only penguin aquarium in Spain. Entry for adults is 18€, children are 13€ and opening times vary but can stay open as late as midnight during the summer months.

Tivoli World

At the foot of the cable car in Benalmadena is Tivoli World consisting of multiple rides and attractions to suit all age groups and during the summer months is open from 6pm until 2am. Entry costs 10€, however there are additional fees for rides. A “supertiovoli” ticket can be purchased for 12€ and this provides free entry to some of the top most popular rides.

Water Park

Parque Acuatico Mijas based in Fuengirola has an abundance of water slides to suit all and costs 19€ per adult, 14€ per child and opening hours are 10am to 6pm.

Sealife Centre

Sealife Centre is found in Benalmadena and has over 30 fascinating marine life displays with feeding demonstrations and close encounters with sharks. Entry for adults costs 13.95€, children 10.95€ and opening hours are 10am to 6pm.

Fuengirola Zoo

Fuengirola Zoo is within walking distance of the shops and beach in Fuengirola. The price is 16€ for adults, 11€ for children, and is open every day from 10am to 7pm.

Funny Beach

On the coastal road (N340) heading in the direction of Marbella is where Funny Beach is located, which is only a 10 minute drive. This area has a go-karting track and will let children over seven years drive round the track on the smaller children’s go-karts. In addition there is a trampoline area, electronic games, and you can go on quad safaris.

Crocodile Park

The Crocodile Park situated in Torremolinos houses more than 300 crocodiles with some more than 5 metres in length. Prices for adults are 13€, children 10€ and the park is open daily from 10am.
