Lovely apartment with great views. We did a months rental and wanted somewhere quiet with a good pool and great views. Its 10 minutes up a steep hill from the coast but it suited us very well. The large balcony sold it for us. A01 June 2018.

Challoner

Short Break. As regular visitors to Calahonda on a long weekend trip to re-charge the batteries, we found the apartment spacious and clean. As the two bedrooms both have single beds, it is an ideal property for four friends to stay. A01 - April 2017.

Great holiday. This is an ideal family apartment. Perfect size and lovely pool - ideal for children. The local area has wide range of activities for the whole family. A01 - August 2017.

Registration number – VFT/ MA/ 10797. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with breath-taking sea views. This spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is set within the beautiful El Albaicin complex.

Situated on the upper slopes of Calahonda with panoramic sea & mountain views and within 10 minutes' walk of local bars and restaurants. 5 minutes drive to local sandy beaches and supermarkets. Only 15 minute drive to either Marbella or Fuengirola along the coast. The El Albaicin complex is a secure gated community with a beautiful swimming pool set within tropical landscaped gardens.

The pool is heated from the 1st May to the 30th September. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard with air conditioning throughout. From the lounge there are large full length patio doors which open out onto a spacious south east facing covered terrace, perfect for outdoor living and al fresco dining.

The sea views are fabulous and you can also see the pool from the terrace.

There is also a large uncovered terrace at the front of the property giving all day sun - perfect for sun worshipers.

There are 2 single beds in the master bedroom that can be made into a double and two singles in the second bedroom.

A superb and spacious family apartment - ideal for holidays for all age groups. Internet TV and Fibre optic WIFI is provided. As with all our holiday homes - this is a NON SMOKING property.

Calahonda is located on the coast only 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport in the Mijas Costa area of the Costa del Sol.

It is situated between Fuengirola and Marbella, at only a 10 minute drive to Fuengirola and only 20 minutes to Marbella and Puerto Banus. Stretching from the beach to the upper slopes of the hills Calahonda encompasses both coastal and rural life in a community with a mixture of apartments, townhouses and private villas. Calahonda is extremely well equipped with facilities and amenities and you will find everything here that a small town requires including numerous restaurants, bars and supermarkets for you to choose from.

Calahonda has two public taxi ranks, one located at El Zoco shopping area and the other is at Los Cipresses.You cannot ‘hail’ a taxi in the street as you can, in European cites.

Taxi’s will Pick up from your property if requested by telephone.

The taxi service in Mijas is centralised by one company, ensuring a safer service. There is a modern, efficient underground railway line running from Malaga city centre, through the Airport, along the coast, through Torremolinos, Benalmadena and ending in Fuengirola. From Fuengirola you can pick up the regular bus service, again traveling along the coast through La Cala de Mijas, Calahonda, the Costa del Sol Hospital and ending in Marbella city centre. From Marbella you can change bus lines and get to La Canada shopping centre, Puerto Banus and all the way to Algeciras near Gibraltar.

Its residents are made up of both Spaniards and Expats with a mix of permanent residents and holiday makers.

There is a friendly atmosphere from locals and many attractions for all the family including water parks, theme parks, zoos, golf and water sports all a short drive away.

Linen and bath towels are provided at a charge of €15 for a 1 bedroom property, €30 for a 2 bedroom property and €45 for a 3 bedroom property.

Beach towels are not so please bring your own.

Final cleaning is included in the price – except for low and mid seasons running from 6th Jan 2018 – 16th June 2018 & 1st September 2018 – 5th January 2019, where a cleaning supplement will be applied. See our Terms & Conditions for prices.

Cots and highchairs are available for hire during your stay.

Arrival time: 4pm, departure time: 10am.

No smoking inside any of the properties, except with prior consent.

 

Our owners require us to hold a damage deposit for each apartment or villa on the following scale:

Apartments up to two bedrooms – £150 or €200

Apartments of three bedrooms and over – £250 or €300

Villas and townhouses – £400 or €500

(This will be more for bookings over 4 weeks)

This deposit should be sent together with the holiday balance when it becomes due.

 

Note: A £30/€40 booking fee is payable on each booking.

How to book

Step 1. Submit your enquiry via our online booking enquiry form, found at the bottom of each property page. PLEASE NOTE your dates will not be held until you receive a response from us confirming the property requested is available for your dates, along with reservation details.

Step 2. We will hold your dates for 7 days, to allow you to pay a reservation fee of 20%, when we have received payment, we will send you confirmation of payment and further booking details.

Step 3. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival, on receipt of payment, you will receive, maps and key collection details.
